ATTENTION ALL CHAMP/PROLITE DRIVERS

We understand there are some questions, and concerns with the new 106 tracks. The statement below from ISR should help clarify everything. CPTC tech will be checking stud length before the champs head out on the track.

The track is heavier because it is made more durable and has better internal cord structure and is not pre drilled.

The track was designed to be more durable and this is part of the improvement from the old 106.

Stud length will be checked and must pass standard rules, there will be no exceptions for worn out old 106’s and no exceptions for longer studs on new 106’s. The responsibility of stud length is with the driver and team as it has been in the past, they can use a shorter stud and shim up.
